DrawyCheese Privacy Policy

DrawyCheese is a drawing and coloring app designed for young children (ages 2–5). Protecting children's privacy is central to its design. In short: we collect no personal data, we do not track, and there are no ads. This policy is written to align with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Data we collect

None. DrawyCheese does not collect, request, or transmit any personal information. There is no account, no sign-up, and no analytics. The app's privacy manifest declares no collected data types and no tracking.

The app uses only a small number of Apple "required-reason" APIs, strictly for the app's own on-device functionality — never for tracking and never shared:

• File timestamps — used internally by SwiftData when it saves your child's artwork to the device.
• Available disk space — checked before saving artwork to ensure there is room to write; the result is never transmitted.
• UserDefaults — stores a single in-app setting (the background-music on/off toggle) on the device.

How we use it

Because no personal data is collected, none is used, analyzed, or shared. The required-reason APIs above exist solely so the app can save drawings and remember the audio setting on the device.

Third parties / processors

There are no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising networks, and no data sales. The app's privacy manifest lists no tracking domains.

Artwork your child creates can sync through the child's own private iCloud / CloudKit container. This sync is provided by Apple, encrypted in transit, tied to the family's Apple account, and is not accessible to us — Jorasoft cannot see or retrieve the artwork.

Data retention & deletion

Drawings are stored on the device (and, if enabled, in the family's private iCloud container). They can be deleted at any time within the app, or by deleting the app, or via the family's iCloud settings. We hold no server-side copy to delete because we receive no data.

Children

DrawyCheese is designed for children aged 2–5 and is COPPA-aligned. It collects no personal information from children. A parental gate protects in-app purchases and any external links, so a child cannot make purchases or leave the app without an adult.

Security

Since no personal data is collected or transmitted to us, there is no personal data at risk on our side. Optional artwork sync uses Apple's CloudKit, which encrypts data in transit and stores it in the family's private, Apple-managed container.
