sorAI Privacy Policy

sorAI is an AI chat assistant. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Data we collect

• Account. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a user identifier and — only if you choose to provide it — your name and email address. This is used solely to create and secure your account.
• Conversations. The messages you send are processed to generate AI responses. Message content is transmitted securely to our processing backend and to our AI provider (Google Cloud Vertex AI) for the sole purpose of producing the reply. Your chat history is stored locally on your device, not on our servers.
• Usage counters. A per-account daily message count is stored to enforce subscription plan limits and quotas.
• Diagnostics. Minimal technical logs are kept for service reliability and abuse prevention.

How we use it

We use this data only to provide the chat service, generate replies, enforce subscription and quota limits, secure accounts, and maintain reliability. We do not profile you for advertising and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

Third parties / processors

We share data only with the infrastructure providers strictly required to operate the service, acting as our processors:

• Firebase (Google) — Authentication, Firestore for per-account daily usage counters, and App Check for request integrity.
• Google Cloud Vertex AI — generation of AI responses from the message content you send.

We never sell personal data, and there are no advertising SDKs in the app.

Data retention & deletion

Your chat history lives on your device and is removed when you sign out or delete the app. You can permanently delete your account, including server-side account data and usage counters, from within the app at Settings → Account → Delete account. For any other data request, contact us at the address below.

Children

sorAI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

All network traffic uses HTTPS/TLS. Requests are authenticated and protected with Firebase App Check to guard against abuse.
