The fastest way to reach us is email. Please include your iOS version, CycleNet build number (Settings → About), and a short description of what you saw vs. what you expected.
Open the app, tap the green Bas Pedala button in the center of the tab bar, and grant location permission ("While Using the App" is enough). The map will start drawing your ride. Pause and resume as needed. Tap Finish to save.
Without it, any ride starting from your home address would expose your address as a polyline endpoint. The radius drops the first and last few meters and snaps the visible endpoints to a 250 m grid — your home location stays private. Toggle and slider are on the Save screen.
Profile → ⋯ → Import GPX. Pick a .gpx file from the Files app (export it from Strava/Komoot/Ride with GPS first). The app parses the file on-device and opens the Save screen so you can adjust title, surface, and privacy radius before publishing.
Settings → Hardware → Sensors → Scan. The sensor must advertise the standard GATT services (0x180D for HR, 0x1816 for cadence). ANT+ is not supported on iPhone (no radio). If the sensor pairs to other apps but not CycleNet, force-quit and re-pair from the sensor's own button before scanning again.
Watch rides send via WCSession immediately when both devices are awake and within range; otherwise the watch falls back to durable transfer that delivers when the phone next opens the app. Just open CycleNet on the phone — the pending ride will appear in the Save flow within a few seconds.
Settings → Account → Delete account. Two-step confirmation. Profile, social graph, messages, and private rides are erased within 30 days. Public rides remain but are anonymized to "Deleted user" so the community keeps what you contributed.
Settings → Language. CycleNet ships in 19 languages including Arabic, Bengali, Chinese (Simplified), German, English, Spanish, French, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Thai, Turkish, Urdu, and Vietnamese. RTL layouts are supported.
Tap a user's profile → ⋯ → Block or Report. Blocking is enforced server-side: mutual follows are removed and you become invisible to each other across feeds, messages, and leaderboards. Reports are reviewed by us within 48 hours.
Distances are computed from your current location. Make sure location permission is granted (Settings → CycleNet → Location → While Using the App), then pull-to-refresh on Home or Explore.
