Blairstown Limousine Privacy Policy

Blairstown Limousine is the official rider, driver, and dispatch app for Blairstown Limousine, a New Jersey airport-transfer and private-hire service. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, and your choices. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not use third-party advertising networks.

Data we collect

The following data is collected and linked to your account, solely to operate the app's functionality:

• Name, email address, and phone number — to create and manage your account and to identify you on a trip. New riders verify their phone number via SMS during registration.
• Precise and approximate location — used for live trip tracking while a ride is active and to pre-fill your pickup point. Drivers' location is shared with the rider only while a trip is en route.
• User ID and device ID — to deliver push notifications about trip status (e.g. driver assigned, en route, completed).
• Trip chat messages — messages exchanged between rider and driver during a trip.
• Profile photo — optional; only if you choose to add an avatar.
• Customer support & diagnostics — information you send when contacting support, plus crash reports (not linked to your identity) used only to improve reliability.

How we use it

Data is used exclusively to provide the app's functionality: booking and dispatching rides, live trip tracking, rider–driver communication, account management, and push notifications. We do not use your data for advertising, and there is no tracking across other apps and websites.

Third parties / processors

• Twilio — powers SMS phone-number verification and masked rider–driver calls. Calls go through a Twilio Proxy so neither the rider's nor the driver's real phone number is exposed to the other party.
• Supabase — our backend platform, storing account, trip, and message data required to run the service.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third-party ad networks.

Data retention & deletion

Account and trip data is retained while your account is active and as needed for trip history and dispatch records. To request deletion of your account and associated personal data, contact us at the support address below and we will process your request.

Children

The app is rated 4+ but is intended for adults arranging transportation. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored on our managed Supabase backend with access controls. Phone numbers are masked during calls so personal contact details are not shared between riders and drivers.
